Order is beautiful....

I had a quick re-shuffle of my art and design books (thus far) after feeling inspired by this and this . Although my small collection of books (excluding novels) is not in the same league as the two that inspired me..I dream that one day it will be! More space plus more money always equals books :)...some day.

Today I am working on orders for mav and camilla . And at last (!) my new packaging has arrived so I can get all my orders to date from etsy sent out tomorrow!

For all who have not discovered Innocent drinks yet..please check them out!! I am in love with them for so many reasons..their products are wonderful, as is their ethos, packaging, image branding and spirit! Sign up for innocent news and be sure to receive a smile each time an email appears in your in-box .....

You have a lovely blog, and I adore your jewelry! What a fun way to organize books, makes it a bit tricky to find what you need though...

oooh! You organized your books by color. They look so great, abigail. I am inspired to try it with my books ( and I have SO many). Innocent drinks look really good. I wonder if I could ship you an Izze in exhange for an Innocent? Which flavor would you like? xox

Ahhh..by colour.
Thats ok. If they were alphabetical i would have made some obnoxios comment about having too much time on your hands...
My books are arranged horizontally by numerically ascending ISBN numbers cross referenced vertically by the number of hours it takes to read the book.
:p

Mav, I sent a wee email to Shari, saying how much I would love that!..but the innocent drinks are all fresh, and need to be kept in the fridge..not sure if they would travel?

You will all just need to come here to try them and say hello to me while you are at it!! :D xx

ah yes... color order... divine!

did you know andrea zittel COVERED all her books in colors so that she could do this? [to extreme]

there was also this artist here in SF that re-arranged a whole small bookstore [adobe books] in color order... sigh.... with envy!

Hi Roxana..nice to have you here!! No lazer cutting (as yet anyway)...I pierce it all by hand with a trusty saw, and a tiny blade :) Glad to hear you like my jewels!! xoxo

even before i read what your inspiration behind that shelf and photograph was, i immediately had to think of andrea's post of that particular project.

sweetness. and yes, order [with just the right dose of chaos] is beautiful.
