This is me....

This is me for the next ten years.

I always feel that a photograph, a self portrait, only ever shows one part of you. This doesn't look like me..but yet it does.. in a way. What will I see in it in ten years time when I have a new photo taken for my passport? What about this image will make me cringe, make me smile? Will I see only the messy windswept hair..will I remember the day it was taken??
Here are some other things from my day...arrivals , applications , browsing beauty , sipping .
Happy monday to all :) xx

you have lovely hair! I've also decided that I have a crush on your blog!

Thanks amanda! :)...I was just saying it looks like I have shortish hair in this. I always tie it up (so as not to set it on fire when soldering!)..but it is actually really long (almost to my waist!)..I do like to just snip away at the front myself tho. This is a good day, I have been known to look a bit 'special' with the DIY hairdo's!!! x

Oh this reminds me that I need to renew my passport (and photo) for my passport next month

You look great, I might recognise you if I seen you in town now :)

And I might recognise you if you come to Gothenburg ;)
In ten years you'll say: I look softer, look at those eyebrows (it's where you see fashion in faces).

Yes I agree Camilla!! If you saw the one I had done 5 years ago (I was 17) my eyebrows were SO thin..I had just discovered tweezers!! They are just about as they are naturally now....Lets see what the years bring :)

ps..I may be in Gothenburg later in the year, so keep an eye out for me!!

Hi abigail
I always enjoy your posts. Sounds like you've had a great day! I loved looking at your flickr faves...I'm planning to go back and take my time. It looks like you've found some lovelies. xox S.

i love the photo [and too am reminded i need to update mine!]

i think this is probably one of the best passport photos ever? i always feel riculous in photos for any sort of ID.... can't smile, fake smile, awful lighting, hair a mess.... sigh....

i also always feel photos catch a glimmer.... one side, one aspect

Don't you hate that you can't smile on your passport photo anymore? I had to do mine last month and I still haven't decided whether I like the photos enough to live with it for 10 years!!
