Perhaps, one day, I will live in a place where Ginkgo's grow...
'Til then, I will make do with ones I collected and now keep pressed and perfect - reminding me each time I look at them of shadows in Paris ....

Wonderful drawing! I've never seen Ginkos in person.
My husband had a ginko tree in his yard growing up. They are lovely trees.
He promises that we will have one someday when we are finally in our "forever" home.
Beautiful drawing!
My husband is an artist blacksmith. He, too, is fascinated with gingko leaves...
your drawing is so exquisite.
hi pretty lady, your designs were featured on FFFOUND today... did you know?
i, too, love the drawings
some gifts i found on the sidewalk:
this drawing is beautifull!
this drawing is so full of life!
gorgeous work abigail. there are a few gingkos in durham. if i can find them again (i know i have seen them!) i will send you a few more leaves for your collection. i love the shape. xox
You should move to Canada, or specifically to London, Ontario (aka the Forest City)!
my parents planted a ginko when I was born. I didn't know it, but I've always loved this tree. and I have memory of an afternoon sitten under a ginko looking at blue flowers
you'd be lucky to get anything to grow in this horrible weather. We can dream though.
Thanks for the lovely coments, you so have to get a dog then you can join in with all the other crackpots in kelvingrove park. See you there.

Stunning drawing and photograph as always. Ginkgos have an amazing form.
beautiful drawing.
we have Ginko trees. the leaves do have a wonderful shape, and they turn to yellow in the fall
Stunning drawing! I'm printing it out to keep me company at work!
i keep a ginko leaf taped inside my notebook. they have such a graceful form, i think. and they remind me that anything is possible.
There's a ginko down the street from my house, but trust me, you don't want to live here, especially not in the winter. We've got a foot of snow outside right now!

Beautiful drawing. Ginko should grow where you live. They grow in the snow in China and Boston and in sunny southern California.
I love how the leaves are connected in your drawing -beautiful.
Ah, very nice lines.
