In other exciting news, I am off to Paris in three weeks - and am absolutely itching to get there! A short holiday is exactly what I need...and the setting could not be more perfect. See, isn't it beautiful? ...via the amazing, and new-to-me blog, Nordljus {I lost many an hour there this morning so be warned, it is a treasure trove!}...on that note, if any of you have any tips of hidden-gem type places you think I should stop by when in Paris...please do share :)
The rain has stopped here, and the sun is showing face...so I shall go for now and make the most of it!

Abigail- enjoy Paris, I am indeed envious! My only advice is to walk as much as possible and keep your eyes wide, there are so mnay amazing things to see.
I came to your site for tips when I went to Paris, never got to that amazing vintage stationery shop you blogged about though.
I found a small chain of shops called Bonton (www.bonton.fr), they are childrens 'concept' stores with some beautiful (expensive) kids clothes but the books and knick knacks are good for adults. Plus they stock the Paumes books.
Junku (18 rue des Pyramides, near the Louvre) is an amazing Japanese book shop, I can totally see why Japanese craft books are so popular! Had to restrain myself...
Sorry if you already know about those places, and have fun!
Lovely! Thanks Katherine...I would especially like that Japanese book shop I think - plus I have some friends with bambino's, so the childrens shop may turn up some treasures too...thank you!!
Erica...absolutely! Walking is the best way to find your way around Paris, I agree....plus, it always turns up amazing gems along the way :)
