Emerging..

...after a long weekend and some glorious sunshine that reminded me to take a break and enjoy it, I have emerged this week from under the huge amount of work that was the last week or two....hurrah!

Things in the workshop are more ordered after a clean up and I am working on some limited edition Summer necklaces to launch late this week or very early next...think bold blooms and exuberant froth!! Stay tuned for those.... :)

I had a big delivery of boxes a few days ago - my beloved Kraft, of course...always so nice to see them stacked into the packing station, knowing I have several hundred more to work my way through....aren't these ribbon colours glorious too? From Paris, of course ;)

...my Basil plant is coming on well. I had to move it out of my window-less kitchen as it needed some light....it seems to be enjoying my living room mantel much better. {What is flourishing for you just now?}....

Head above water...

Hi everyone...apologies for disappearing so suddenly and neglecting this space, and my tales of shots from the workshop...I am a bad, bad blogger!! 

Somehow, suddenly, I am swamped with work this week and just trying to keep my head above water and push through....!! It's also suddenly hot, which always make workshop time that little bit more arduous...

So...I shall say good night for now, and will be be back with lots to show as soon as possible....thanks so much for all your emails and comments recently {they are so appreciated!}, if you are waiting for an email back from me, I will be right on it asap - promise!!

Summer evenings...

A lovely eve at was had by all at Mhari's birthday party celebration {happy happy!}...and such a feast was prepared for us {thank you M + P!!}...what a nice way to toast mid-week too...!! Thank you kindly ;)

...other guests at the soiree included the lovely band members of Sparrow and the Workshop ...do have a listen to their beautiful music, I am looking forward to seeing them live some time!

Natures Jewels...

Out for a trot up to the post office today...there is so much in bloom after all the rain. I love taking my usual little walk, but with my camera - makes me look ; up, down, all around...amazing the little things you see....

I got the new current issue of Bloom when I was in Paris, and I have just been spending some time looking through it now...and boy, is it good! Get your hands on a copy if you can...it really is the best of the best...

This is so, so nice.

Hello this fine Monday afternoon....

Good things for today :: this song from the Mystery Jets {love the 80's style vid too, so funny} - getting a fabulous retro denim dress {god, I love it so!} through in the mail and having it fit like it was made just for me...opening the curtains to sun rather than rain....watching the shadows on the living room floor shift as the evening draws closer...

Nice start to the week I think...how was your day??

Defiance...

Defiance. Yes.

...something that I understand, and at times, respect. 

For example, nature will out ; my hair is supposed to kink and curl and so it reminds me every now and again who is boss and rebells even after large amounts of straightening {thank you wet weather}...Peonies, past their best but determined to hold on and give one last defiant blast of beauty before they fall....

We all fall. 

Best to do it defiantly, perhaps?

A little shout-out this evening...

The lovely people at Moo have launched a new product this week, full size Business Cards!! -  I was seriously delighted when they asked me a few weeks ago to team up with them to help launch the said lovely cards....I really love Moo as a company {and have used their mini-cards for a good long while now}, so am always delighted to work with them and endorse their printing, so was really touched that they liked my photography so much that they featured them on their new product....and even happier when a stack of the final product arrived at my door the other week....

...needless to say, the quality is AMAZING and I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Thank you Moo for doing what you do, and doing it so very well :)
