Defiance...

Defiance. Yes.

...something that I understand, and at times, respect. 

For example, nature will out ; my hair is supposed to kink and curl and so it reminds me every now and again who is boss and rebells even after large amounts of straightening {thank you wet weather}...Peonies, past their best but determined to hold on and give one last defiant blast of beauty before they fall....

We all fall. 

Best to do it defiantly, perhaps?
