Hello 25...

Hi everyone...stopping in after my awol episode {sorry for being gone so long!}, feeling much better, refreshed and raring to go. Though perhaps, that is just because it's my Birthday and I have a rather nice day planned ;)

...yeah, so, 25....

That number is creeping up everywhere today...it's the 25th of August and I am turning 25...this is my three hundred and 25th post....turns out I am all about listening to coincidence and channelling as fate - so to celebrate {and say thank you for all your continued support!} I thought I would have a *one day only sale* in my wee Shop!! And you guessed it.....25% off...how's that??

...just enter the code twentyfive upon checkout and enjoy the spoils if you care to join in the celebration!! :) CLICK HERE for fun times...

Hope this helps make your day as nice as mine is going to be....off out for brunch soon with my parents and then some shopping for treats before a nice home cooked meal. I have started the day off right with Lavazza, I'll be back tomorrow and let you know how it ends....

xo to all!

Happy Birthday! There are few things better than a good coffee. If I were in Glasgow, I would treat you to lunch at K&J.

happy birthday a bit late. you're only 25 - good for you already making such wonderful jewellery! I love the way you present them in your etsy shop ie the books and surfaces in the background...

Hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Happy belated birthday, dear Abigail (I can't believe you are so young!) - I hope you had a wonderful day. (we passed Glasgow the other week on the way up to the highland - I wanted to meet you there but we were trying to get (very) north in one day so had to give up stopping in town... hopefully we'll have another chance soon!) keiko x

25 is nothing -you have no idea of how close to death you actually are until you hit - say - 35 - which you doubtless think is a long, long way away. Still, the human race couldn't perpetuate itself unless everyone of breeding age was so ignorant of the future, Bless.

A well-wisher.

Anon...hmm...thanks for your comment. I am slightly baffled by it though...

I'm not quite sure what part of my post made you think I was saying I thought 25 was old...or indeed that I was ignorant of the future, or of death or of my mortality?

I am able to count perfectly, too, and so I know 35 to be exactly ten years from now...

It's good to remember sometimes that none of us know each other online, and that you can sometimes read into things that are not there. I could be doing the same thing now of course with your comment...but this post was just a small hello on my birthday last year - and a fun sale to mark the occassion...nothing more, nothing less.

:) Abigail

I'm fairly astounded by "anon's" level of patronising arrogance.

Believe me, NO ONE can speak of anyone's "ignorance of the future", as how could anyone, no less a stranger on the internet, have any idea about the life experiences of another.

Anyone of us could be living each day as though it were our last...and for the opposite to be assumed is not only disgustingly patronising, but, also, unbelievably stupid.
