Ahh Friday...

Isn't it nice to get to the end of the week? A Friday night always feels great...starting off the weekend with a glass of wine and the opening of Narrative with Mhari was just the ticket too...!

I'm almost there with the new bijoux, so will be photographing the collection tomorrow and getting it all in the shop too - so stay tuned! Another little sneak peek above... ;)

Always by lamp-light...

Mmm....we are supposed to get a land-slide of snow here over night....well, it's 1.45 am and all it's doing is raining.....if there was *anyone* still silly enough to be up - poised with their camera, ready and eager to capture snow flurry against the night sky....I would suggest they just called it a night. Yes....ahem, that's what I would do. ;)

More scenes from the studio....by lamp-light, always by lamp-light.....I am *almost* there - goods will be ready to show by Friday/Saturday I should think.

However! For those of you thinking of snapping something up from my existing collections - {main shop or etsy shop}...just a wee note to let you know the last guaranteed shipping date to the States is the 12.12.08 - UK has next day delivery, so you have much more time!! So do place your orders with me as soon as possible, so I can get making and get the goodies to you in time for the Holidays!! :)

...another wee note, remember the Rose Leaf Necklace? Well, it's in the shop as of tonight - right HERE.....there is only *one* of these on sale for Christmas......{the other, limited edition of 2, is in London at a show}....

p.s - the picture above. I press leaves. All the time. Then find them, months, even years later in between the pages of things - reminding me of where I picked them up, what I was thinking at the time {usually, bijoux!}...I would heartily recommend you take up the practise too. It literally is the gift that keeps on giving ;)

Almost, almost...

Hello one and all....this week is nose to the grindstone at the bench - working on NEW things for Christmas {last week I was playing catch up with orders after being a sickly thing}...so it's all coming, coming...soon, soon, soon......

Really, by the end of the week I should be more than there ;)

A little sneak peek, above, of some of the things you might be seeing - boyfriend rings {chunky!}....bangles a plenty....ginkgo's teamed with luscious citrines....shades of rose pink in quartz and pearls.....new leaf silhouettes on long belcher chains......and lots more!

Off to cook some wholewheat spaghetti with prawns, garlic and lots of chilli!! It needs to warm me up...so chilly here tonight!

Rose Leaf Necklace...

Some shots taken before this necklace left the studio ....shown in various states of progress over the last few weeks!...I will {and can} only make two of these....because of the large smokey quartz drop briolettes, which were a pair: one necklace will be available in my shop shortly {the other is at Dazzle in London}. I so enjoyed making this one.... :)

It's been too long...

Hi everyone....gosh, I can't believe how much time has passed since I was last in this space. Unfortunately....I haven't been off doing a bevy of fun things - quite simply, I have been really pretty sick with a chest infection....and prior to Monday was in my bed for 8 days straight. Everyone has something right now - it's a bad year for it....but hellish timing, and I *loathe* not being able to work when I need to. Very stressful, right?

...anyway...slowly, slowly back to the bench this week. Getting through orders and catching up with emails - a huge thank you to everyone who has been so patient with the delay on getting their orders out them...I have the most lovely customers, ever :) I so appreciate you!!

I had a few new designs that went off to Dazzle {a collection of my work will be at the National Theatre, London show from now through Christmas and into 09}...two of which are pictured above - more to share tomorrow...and slowly making their way into the Shop!

ALSO - new work and special pieces for Christmas will be coming super *soon*....I am a little behind on that, with being sick - but I am hoping to have everything ready to go by the end of the month...if not a little before.....so stay tuned for bijoux and baubles a' plenty!!

Glad to be back - hope you are all well and keeping bad bugs at bay! ;)
