Okay. Three posts in one week...that is an improvement, right? ;) The best laid plans and all that.....hehe...It has been a busy week but nice the weekend has arrived so quickly!...

The new Bon Iver album....it's stunningly good. I can't get enough of it.

The view out my studio window. I really love it. Daily I see the same woman come and sit in the park for at least an hour. Just sitting and smoking. She stays very still. I think maybe that is her meditation time. She even comes if it is raining.

No rain today. Yet.

Feeling glad and feeling grateful.

Reflections...

Yesterday was pretty wonderful...thank you all SO much for all your warm birthday wishes and emails - and also for embracing my little fun sale day so well too! I am working through the orders today and will be in touch with you all soon with a confirmation email....

We had lunch on the River yesterday, which was just lovely. The sun came out and shone for the whole day...which was just the icing on the cake, so to speak. The water was like black Haematite and was so shimmery....perfectly set off by a pair of regal white swans! I was treated to this amazing piece of kit which sounds phenomenal {how lucky am I exactly?}....a major step up from listening to music on my laptop! I also treated myself to a few bits in Jigsaw, their Autumn/Winter collection is to die for....and you know me, knitwear has me every time....roll on Autumn I say!

Will be having little celebrations peppering the week to come which will be fun...I shall be stopping in most days to show you what I am up to anyway...

Off to the bench with me just now though. More soon,

Hello 25...

Hi everyone...stopping in after my awol episode {sorry for being gone so long!}, feeling much better, refreshed and raring to go. Though perhaps, that is just because it's my Birthday and I have a rather nice day planned ;)

New week and wedding...

Hi everyone...I am feeling that the world is ever so slightly conspiring against me these last few weeks - I came down this week with a cold and am not feeling so great today so my focus is a little off....

I just wanted to quickly stop in and share a few shots from the wedding I attended at the weekend - my cousin Laura to Andy. It was a really beautiful day and I had a lovely time....congrats to the happy couple!! The setting was beautiful and I was so pleased that the sun shone the whole day on the gorgeous Ayrshire countryside...

I will be back in this space as soon as possible - trust me though, bench time when your head is this fuzzy is never a good idea ;) Hope everyone is having a good week....

Oh, and I watched this amazing movie last night, Once - which I heard about first after seeing this song 'Falling Slowly'  performed on Jules Hollands - it won an Oscar for Best Original Song, and deservedly so...it blows me away. Hope you enjoy it too...it makes my day better just to listen to it....

Finally...

Oh thank goodness...back to normal working order - I was beginning to freak out. It is only when you are separated from your blog unwillingly you realise how essential it actually is to you! Reunited and it feels so goooood...and all that ;)

So...I have decided not to push my luck today...and to take it a little easy on the 'ol blog - sharing some moments from the week. I have been out for some nice long walks, despite the regular rain showers - my camera came with, ready to capture moments of shine....I have been bloom hunting as well. Getting just the right flowers for the new necklaces has proved tricky...I am almost there though.

Also wanted to share some of the loot I got from my stone dealer last week - mostly Smokey Quartz beads...for some big Christmas season necklaces...but also some dreamy big briolettes - just look at the size of them!! Cannot wait to turn those into some stunner earrings....

I am off to a wedding tomorrow - so am starting the weekend early. What are your plans for the weekend?...do tell! I am going to be out dancing, having dinner cooked for me by friends and trying to put my week of non-publishing hell behind me....!! Next week I will start fresh and share all those things I have been promising to for goodness knows how long now ;)

Publishing Issues Galore...

Hi everyone...apologies for the absence since last Wednesday - I have been experiencing real issues uploading images....le sigh. Still not playing this week either....so will be back with the new pieces, and limited editions as soon as I can get it all cooperating again. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!
