New, and behind the scenes...
...some little out-takes from a photo-shoot day. Trust me - when I actually get good light, I have to make the most of it ;)) I like also, the process of gleaning order from the chaos. Behind the scenes shots are always my favourites, so I thought I would share these from the other day...also, on an aside...it's a good opportunity for people to be able to guage the scale of things too.
And seeing as how it is now after mid-night here, and officially February the first - I want to say Happy Birthday to sweet Isla...whose beautiful cheeky grin {just like her Mama} brings a smile to my face each time I see it....have a wonderful day little one. Nothing like turning one-year old....xox
Hooray for Friday...have a stellar weekend everyone,

Cross-pollination...
{Cross-pollination in design disciplines} is what I am writing about today over at the Design*Sponge Guest Blog ...a subject which lot of you know is close to my heart {and work ;)}...
This week has absolutely flown in, a complete haze of work - miserable rain {fighting my way through it when out and about} and a bevvy of other things taking up a lot of time. Tomorrow, however, I have a couple of brand new earring designs ready to go up in the shop so am hoping for some good light today to take some shots of them. Wish me luck!
Oh - and the Hyacinths are fully in bloom now, so I will share that burst-open-beauty tomorrow as well...the scent is just divine.
On a side-note : Anyone else fighting the urge to hibernate in earnest? ;)
Have a great Thursday everyone, and roll on Friday! xox
Edit :: Light had evaded me...so no photos today as planned - expect the update over the weekend! Have a great one everybody :) x

Monday, Monday...
...I took advantage of the good light yesterday and managed to get lots of my new designs photographed and uploaded onto the Shop. Above are the new pieces, a big mixture of styles and prices...you can see them by visiting my Shop, right here :)
In exciting news for the week, you will find more from me over here, where I will be tapping out some ideas and finds related to Botanical design {yes, I am that AP ;)}. I hope I will see you over on d*s later today!
I am off out today for a look around Habitat {great sale on now, which is great as I am shopping for bits for a new home!}...and lunching in Fifi and Ally . When a gal works all Sunday {and Saturday afternoon}...she needs some time off on a Monday, right? ;)
See you tomorrow! Have a good day...

What a difference...
Rain is lashing the windows today - dark clouds rudely interrupting a photographing session I was shooting {of many new designs coming next week, many of which will be ready to ship in time for Valentines day!}...and I think the dark is making me a little sluggish and want to hunker down and hybernate, however, I think I will be out and about this weekend trying to find some more bulbs to bloom. Makes the days brighter, don't you think?
To get into the swing {more on that next week!} > flower district {nyc} :: myrtle :: birthday flowers :: inspiration :: white rose :: tulips in double horned pots *sigh* :)
Have a great w/end all, off to put the kettle on...

Enjoying these > Forgotten treasures in the attic :: untitled :: untitled :: untitled :: . :: 'cloud-sign' :: untitled ....
Spending some time on these sites > Jamie's Fowl Dinners and Chicken Out - a big deal here in the media at the moment {has been for me for years now}, and oh-so important!!
Have a good day,

Ode to the weekend...
Bought some beautiful Hyacinth bulbs today { white I am told }...and some compost, so will get those planted up soon. Very much looking forward to the scent of spring coming into the house....
Over the weekend I had lunch at my Aunties in Edinburgh - she made the most beautiful Turkish apple cake...imagine bircher muesli as a cake - very dense, sharp yet sweet, chewy...so good, and so unusual! The recipe comes from a brilliant cookery book...David Scott's Middle Eastern Vegetarian Cookery..which although is now out of print [or so I think] can still be found second hand on amazon. I am going to make one of these cakes this week [it doesn't have any butter/fat or oil in it...so it makes for perfect breakfast fare with Greek yogurt, or so I imagine!] ...so if anyone wants the recipe, just email me and I will send you through a scan of the page :)
Thanks so much for all your kind words about the new shop launch...and to all you who purchased something! I can now confirm everything is running smoothly...and I am very much enjoying the new set-up. Hope you are too!
Good Monday to you all...

ps - to the lovely lady who introduced herself to me whilst in Fifi and Ally last week...leave me a wee message sometime so I can read your blog {I should have taken a note of it at the time!!} :) It was lovely to meet you.

NEW Shop Launch...
Quite a wee bit to announce here today...I have been working hard this last week getting ready to launch my NEW Online Shop where I have housed all my designs from the Vintage Collection!
Together for the first time, and priced in my native currency {GBP}, I hope that having all my designs and prices visible will make shopping easier for everyone...launching today, and already stocked with many designs {both new and old favourites}, there is lots to look at already. I will continue to add new designs and photographs over the next few weeks - so stay tuned for that.
This week happens to be my two year blog-anniversary - so I thought it fitting to make this move, and also give the blog a bit of a makeover too! I hope you all like it....:)
As always, times like this force you to reflect on everything you have done in the last few years...and with my business being practically the same age as this blog [slightly older, but only by a few months ;)] - for me, the two go hand in hand. Blogging has been such a great trip for me on many levels...and as well as the amazing friendships I have found through this space, the support of my little business from the people who read my blog and buy my bijoux has just been just extraordinary. So - thank *you* truly.
So, please do click on over to my new shop and enjoy browsing...! {These new Anemone Outline Hoop earrings, above...and just finished today, are in store now as well!}
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
