Back online...

Hi everyone....! I am thankfully back online after a scary computer blowup [burn-out]....and am more than glad to be so. How dependant we are these days on our computers!!....it has made me think seriously about changing over to Mac as all I hear is how much more reliable they are...how easy to use [how b-eautiful of course!! ;)] etc etc. Do any of you have any advice - do you think I will be able to change over [from pc to mac] my files okay? I am feeling seduced by the white I must say....mmm.......now there is a mac-store in Glasgow....mmm.

Things have been BUSY here. The work for Dazzle London went away yesterday - feeling v. tired after that one....above are a couple of new big necklaces that went down too....there are LOTS more new design ready too [I just didn't have a chance to photograph the ones off to Dazzle yesterday...but will when I make more this week] so stay tuned.

Back into Radio these days since I have been without iTunes....also re-reading this trilogy as it is just the kind of escapism I need right now....*so* good ;)

Happy Thursday everyone! I will be slowly catching up over the next day or so...so will get back to emails asap. Have a great eve all,
xox

Good luck with the pc / mac switch over (afraid I don't have any advice to give) but mac's are very pretty!

Beautiful necklaces. Glad you're back. Love these books so I bought the audio books of the trilogy a few weeks back for a change,it was the first time I've done that, it was quite nice while I painted but there is nothing quite like a book. Their voices can really throw you. I now feel ready for the upcoming film this December, have you seen the trailer yet? I presume your brother will disown you because of pure envy....as would I. Have a super weekend. x

I love my Mac, I changed over about four years ago. While I did find it a little stressful to change, once I was used to it, which didn't take long, I was a complete convert. I find Mac's so much more intuitive and reliable, I would never go back to a PC.

i love your jewellery, i'm a fan of it!.

i'm a mac user for more than 13 years now and i love them, as an architect i often switch archives from pc's and there's no problem, and according to what i read at apple.com the new macs are more compatible than ever.

do it, you won't return to a pc, and continue with your beautifull work!.

Hello Abigail,

On my way to two days off work, without any computer – pc or mac.
In the past, many years ago, there was a big difference between pc and mac but today I think it's a matter of what you used too. Mac is more intuitive and more stylish but pc has more software in any area, less expensive, and with XP and vista (which I personally don't like at all) very easy to operate. Most of the malfunction in pc came from cheap and not quality hardware. So find a good store and don’t forget the antivirus, antispyware and firewall. It's most important these days.
Hopefully I'll be in London before end of the year and I'll go to Dazzle London to see your work. It's such bug difference between photos and the real work.

Beautiful work! About the mac... mine just broke down, and I didn´t have a back-up off everything on it... I´m going to buy a new mac though ;-)
